About ALA
The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) was formed in 1971 to provide support to professionals involved in the management of law firms, corporate legal departments, and government legal agencies. The first Chapter formed here in Richmond in 1972 with fewer than 10 members. Today, however, ALA has more than 9,000 members comprised of over 90 Chapters representing more than 30 countries.

Richmond ALA Chapter Mission
To provide relevant educational programs, networking opportunities and social activities in a fun and welcoming environment to those in the field of legal management, while fostering relationships with our business partners and giving back to our community.
